If you order online through our online shop, you can pay securely by Paypal or credit or debit card.
Availability is always subject to stock levels, which can vary due to surges in demand. We try to maintain substantial stock levels and, for UK customers, we endeavour to have the goods with you within 1-3 days of order. These delivery times are not guaranteed. Guaranteed overnight courier services may however be an option.
Please call +44 (0)1708 501581 or +1 (844) 201-9871 to enquire.

We strongly recommend that you order with a view to preempting any emergency. Pipes can burst and appliances can leak suddenly and unless you have the bags in your premises at the time of the incident, they will be of little use until the next time you have a flood.
Yes, bags come with a small label sewn into the seam, which includes the company's name and contact details. For orders of larger quantities, the bags can be made without labels, if required. Please call +44 (0)1708 501581 or +1 (844) 201-9871 to discuss custom orders.

If you require bags without labels, please note that delivery times may be longer than the normal 1-3 days.
Yes. For orders of sufficient quantity, the bags can be made in a range of colours. Please call +44 (0)1708 501581 or +1 (844) 201-9871 to discuss custom orders.

Stacka Sacks are normally made in two colours (one black pad, one white pad) to allow easy visual control when stacking. This aids stability when "building" a wall of bags.
No. These sizes are the standard sizes which we keep in stock. But, for orders of sufficient quantity, we can make the bags to other sizes. Please call +44 (0)1708 501581 or +1 (844) 201-9871 to discuss custom orders. Pack sizes are calculated appropriately.

Please consider that the bag sizes have been carefully designed and thoroughly tested. We offer the most extensive range of any water-absorbent bag. Every size will serve its intended usage well and our wide range of sizes will allow you to select the most appropriate and cost effective bag for the job.

For example, our Ab1000 bags were designed to fit a single door's width. You will probably need multiple units of similar products or traditional sandbags to cover the same space.
No. We only sell standard stock-range packs in the quantities listed. This is because the pack sizes have been calculated to optimise their practicality (ease of transport and storage) as well as cost effectiveness.
Yes. We are always looking for serious distributors with good contacts and industry experience. Our product range includes more than just flood-defence bags and we have a disposable range for a number of markets including spill and condensation control. We always welcome industry-specific distributors.

In short, it would be advisable for virtually everybody to have a stock for spills, leaks and potential flooding.

If you live in a country where it rains or if you have pipes or appliances that use water, then you are at risk of flooding. Timely use of Absorbeez could reduce the impact of flooding and prevent an insurance claim, protracted building-drying process and downtime for your business, or time that you and your family spend in temporary accommodation whilst your home is dried out.

The following industries in particular have found Absorbeez useful:
cleaning, construction, flood restoration, leisure, packaging, plumbing, property management and transport. It is better to have them and not need them than need them and not have them.
Usage can be broadly placed into the following categories:

1 - Absorbing standing water from spills, leaks and other escapes of water like dew-point condensation.

2 - Preventing ingress of water, i.e. acting as an alternative to sandbags and as an impermeable barrier.

3 - Specialised commercial applications such as lining of packaging or containers.
You can find some guidance HERE but much depends on your individual circumstances and requirements. Please contact us by email at or call +44 (0)1708 501581 or +1 (844) 201-9871 to discuss your needs.
Providing the unused packaged bags are stored as per our recommendations (see below), the product can be stored for at least five years.
We recommend that Absorbeez bags are stored in their unopened packaging until they are ready to be used. Once the packaging is open, continue to store unused bags in the packaging. Absorbeez bags should be stored indoors and in dry conditions at all times. Keep out of the reach of children and do not store near open flames or sources of ignition.
Each pack contains a 'male' and 'female' pad, which have different arrangements of core material, which interlock together when inflated.
They can then be stacked like bricks in a wall to an appropriate height and width, providing an impermeable barrier. Stackas are colour-coded black or white to ensure easy visual identification when stacking.
Booms are Absorbeez bags that are 7.25 metres in length. They are suitable for channeling water or preventing ingress to larger areas, for example across a garage or warehouse door. Other sizes can be made to special order.
Please follow local guidance on disposal of refuse.
Bags contaminated with controlled waste need to be disposed of in accordance with local and national regulations.
We recommend not. The bag is designed and sold as a disposable product and although, technically, re-use is possible, it is neither practical nor cost effective. This is because it takes considerable energy and time to evaporate the absorbed water from the bag and each time the product is used and dried out, it will lose approximately 20% of its absorbency. If you were able to dry the bags, you would not achieve the pristine finish in which we supply the bags and would also need to store them somewhere dry.
Exposure to floodwater may also present hygiene issues.
Yes. We are capable of designing and manufacturing tailored products for specialist projects. Some such successful projects include lining of food packaging, lining of body bags and bespoke sizings to fit specific spaces. If you have any tailor-made requirements, please call us on +44 (0)1708 501581 or email to discuss your needs.

We are the original designers and makers of absorbent bags and have been making them since 1995.
Absorbent capacity for each bag size is available here.
All packs of our woven pads weigh under 5KG.
This makes for an optimum mix of practicality and cost effectiveness.
No - this is due to the high concentration of salt.
However, we are not aware of any water-absorbing bag or other comparable product that absorbs sea water.

They simply do not absorb any meaningful quantity of sea water.
No. However, our granular product A1 Power Sorb is easy to use, non-toxic and is suitable for more viscous spills like oil-based liquids, alcohols, body fluids, caustics, mineral acids, paints, toxins or solvents.
Do not use A1 Power Sorb with hydrofluoric acid; lethal fumes may be produced.
1 Pour the powder in front of the spill (not directly on the spill) and partially surround it. If the spill is flowing, place the powder in front of the flow, creating a dam. The amount of powder needed will depend on the amount and viscosity of the spill.
2 Using a broom, push the powder onto the surface of the spill. Then with a rapid, circular motion, mix the powder into the spill until the liquid is absorbed. Reapply the powder if it becomes saturated before the spill has been completely absorbed and continue to mix.
3 Once the spill is absorbed, remove the powder with a dustpan and brush, Dispose of the product as per local refuse guidelines for the substance absorbed.
Yes. Do not use A1 Power Sorb to absorb hydrofluoric acid; lethal fumes may be produced.
No. But, it will work very well if used indoors or outdoors on land.
No. However, our range of Absorbeez bags absorb freshwater very well. A1 Power Sorb is suitable for oil-based fluids and other viscous substances (not hydrofluoric acid).
Yes. If the spill is large and very viscous, a flat garden rake, with the teeth pointed upwards, can be used to increase effectiveness.

When absorbing liquids that stain, such as paint, the powder will leave the area clean and dry. However, if the surface is porous, the liquid may get trapped in the pores and leave a stain. If this happens, pour paint thinner (or another suitable liquifier) onto the area and work it into the surface with the broom. This will turn the stain into a liquid that will be immediately absorbed by the powder. Repeat if necessary.
The bags consist of a super-absorbent polymer stitched inside a specially-selected durable, rip and burst-resistant, woven-fabric covering. Dripeez and Strips are made of a polypropylene non-woven covering.
Absorbeez bags can be heavy once activated Use good lifting techniques and appropriate mechanical aids.

Absorbeez bags can be slippery and unstable, and present a trip hazard. Do not step or walk on them.

If absorbent core material spills or leaks, sweep up immediately and do not walk on it. Core material can be extremely slippery. Ingestion may present a choking hazard.

In addition, the core material may result in eye irritation if it gets into the eye.

Plastic packaging used with the bag presents a suffocation risk.

Do not leave children unsupervised around Absorbeez bags or their packaging.

Please refer to our instructions section HERE for more information on using and storing Absorbeez.
No. However, no part of the Absorbeez product should be ingested or come into contact with eyes.
